Barley
A short tale about Barley grown using only Seed Assist and Soil Assist.
This 10HA paddock has no known fertilser history. The paddock is white sand over clay, which had recently been delved to raise some clay to the surface, it was "worked up' in two passes of the offset disc's and then leveled with a leveling bar.
Barley seed (Forest variety) was coated with Seed Assist at approximately 20L per Ton and was sown at 100kg/HA.
The crop was sprayed with Soil Assist at 10L/HA at approximately 6-8 leaf stage. There was a rain event after this application, the Barley responded within day's with a flush of deep green.
The Barley was sprayed again in the week or so after this first photo with 20L/HA of Soil Assist + trace elements (to correct known local deficiencies), again there was a rain event and again the Barley responded within days - so much so that the spray contractor noticed the change when passing the block days later and requested some Soil Assist for use on his fathers property.
The Barley received no other nutrient inputs.
